The REAL Virus... Few Are Talking About

Updated: Sep 10, 2020

A telling report came out this week from the #CDC about the #Covid19 virus. For those who don’t know, the “CDC” is an acronym for the #CentersOfDiseaseControl. According to the CDC website, their mission is to protect #America from “#Health, #Safety and #Security threats” amongst other things. Basically, they are the highest authority when it comes to outbreaks here in this nation.

When the #Coronavirus hit the front news of the paper late January, we were told a few different things. First, we were told that there’s “nothing to see here” and to “come on down and hold public gatherings in #ChinaTown” (Nancy Pelosi) and to “get out on the town despite #Coronavirus” (Bill DeBlasio) as #PresidentTrump made #VicePresidentPence the head of the Coronavirus task force. Then, for some unknown reason (I think we know), the same politicians did a “180” and started saying how the #President isn’t doing his job when it came to the worst #Pandemic in modern history.

Looking at the CDC data, it looked clear that these claims were correct. To date, there has been 6,181,474 cases of people contracted with the virus with 187,159 deaths from the said virus (CDC.gov). Let’s not even go down the rabbit hole of the #H1N1 virus in 2009 that infected 60,000,000 people while killing 1.6 million and 18,448 respectively (CDC.gov and en.as.com). It seems like H1N1 is more of a #Pandemic than #Covid and we’ll talk about this in a second. Of course, losing just one life is tragic but its important to keep things in perspective. We need to “follow the science” and put everything in context before we make broad-brush statements if broad-brush statements could even be used.

First, its important to know that this is an election year for the president of the #UnitedStates. This tactic isn’t unique to 2020. There have been MANY elections in my life that has made mountains out of mole hills and saying things like:

“This is the most important election in the history of our country.”

And

“If we elect (fill in the blank), we are all going to die!”

Really disgusting stuff, but it has never been as extreme as its been this election year and this “pandemic” is a great example of it.

Because of this “Pandemic”, we went on an average of two months #Quarantine where the whole nation was shut down for all except “Essential Jobs” completely not realizing that every job is essential to the person who lives paycheck to paycheck. Even as I write this today, there are still cities that are in a complete shut-down.

There have been many “Secondary Affects” of this shutdown that have been FAR worse (In my opinion) than the actual virus itself. Because of this Covid panic, shutdowns that lead to mass unemployment and hopelessness of the foreseeable future, on top of the average annual suicide and drug overdose numbers, an added 75 thousand people have died during all of this. Also, it’s important to note that sex trafficking and sexual assault has jumped exponentially since the panic began. At the start of the nation-wide quarantine, PornHub announced that they were giving out “premium memberships” to people who are stuck at home for free. Looking at these unintended consequences of this panic has made me realize that the #Cure have become worse that the #Disease.

Fast forward, if you will, to a few weeks ago. The CDC released a report updating the Corona deaths in the United States. They commented that, in truth, 6% of the deaths that occurred can be directly contributable to Covid; 94% cannot. At the time of the announcement, around 160,000 of the people that have died, 9,210 people actually died from the virus. There is no pandemic (at least, not here in The United States).

Now, for my intelligent reader (like you), we understand the co-morbidities of death (counted people with two, three or more co-morbidities) and all of that, but when we are constantly being told one thing; gas-lighting us to the point of submission, then being told what we’ve been suspicious about the whole time, is not just relieving, but discouraging. Please read this carefully, I’m NOT saying the virus doesn’t exist. I’m not even saying the virus isn’t deadly, we all know it does, especially to people over the age of 70 years. What I AM saying is that if you follow the science and the data, this has been the biggest #Hoax of modern American history. These politicians played with our lives and livelihood to score a few extra political points. This is unacceptable.

But, there’s another virus loose in the world and it’s the virus of #Deception. The one who is behind the virus of deception is the greatest of all deceivers, #Satan himself. You can see this clearly because one of the main goals during all of this is the determination to shut down the #Church. Shutting down #God’s house. There have been many churches in this nation that has used technology as their tool and are able to stream worship into every home or even doing “Drive-In” services in their church parking lots. But, in places like #California, it is against the law to go into a physical structure to have church.

Church is MUCH MORE than sitting down and listening to the pastor talk for an hour or so. Its not only that, but it’s the #Fellowship of fellow believers. Church is about being together as the bride of #Christ and leaning on each other to strengthen our faith and give us encouragement when we face yet another week in this dying world. We are also commanded to go to church by our very God who we worship. In 1 John 1:7, it says:

“But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

We are commanded to be on guard for ourselves. Not just for us, but to be on guard for our #Flock. This is where the #HolySpirit is and He’s the overseer of us (a). This is nothing new in this world. From the beginning of man, the #Evil one has been doing anything and everything to keep us away from, not only the Word of God, but from each other. But our #Lord has come to this world to bring us to Him and give us the #EternalLife that was meant for us all along (b)!

We are in a very turbulent time in this nation and even in this world. #Satan’s time is running short and he knows this so he’s bringing out the big guns to make sure we stay away from the One who makes all things new (c)! He’s trying to make us look to the left and the right at pandemics, race, injustice, fake justice, finances, politics and even denomination differences in the church. The #Devil wants us to look everywhere BUT up! The ONLY pace that will be here for eternity and will give you satisfaction, safety and joy for #Eternity is UP! We need to learn to fix our eyes on #TheLord and, even though there is death, pain and chaos to the left and the right of us, we won’t be swayed in either direction (d).

Our #Lord is a #Merciful God (e), but He is also a #Just God (f). If we stay #Faithful to HIM and Him only, there is nothing but joy at the end of this narrow road, but if we allow ourselves to be sidetracked and find our way on the wide road, we will fall with many who are currently on this path, which is death and destruction (g). Will you fail today of tomorrow? Yes. We all fail every day. That’s why #Jesus came and died on #TheCross for our failings. But we need to make sure not to give up and give in to these worldly leanings. We will fail, but God loves us so much that He takes our day all crumbled and blotted up and gives us a new day for us to try again.

I’ll close with a poem called #ANewLeaf by #KathleenWheeler, a school teacher that pretty much sums up the #Love and #Grace that our Lord has for us when we approach Him with a soiled heart.

He came to my desk with a quivering lip, the lesson was done.

“Have you a new sheet for me, dear teacher? I’ve spoiled this one.”

I took his sheet, all soiled and blotted, and gave him a new one all unspotted.

And into his tired heart I cried, “Do better now, my child.”

I went to the throne with a trembling heart, the year was done.

“Have you a new year for me, dear Master? I’ve spoiled this one.”

He took my year, all soiled and blotted, and gave me a new one all unspotted.

And into my tired heart he cried, “Do better now, my child.”

And into my tired heart He cried, “Do better, my child.” What kind of love is this? This is a love that I can’t possibly imagine. Stay vigilant, stay faithful, and stay with our #Creator. And, as God says in the poem, “Do better now, my child.”

Amen.

Spot on my brother. The deceiver is present and not hiding any longer, but we must stay the course and run the race, no matter how tired and tattered we become for He will restore our soul (Ps 23).
